Sauteed Mushrooms

Ingredients:

  • 8 oz sliced baby bella mushrooms
  • 1 Tbsp olive oil
  • 1 Tbsp butter
  • 3-4 Tbsp dry red wine (~1/4 cup)
  • 1/2 to 1 tsp minced garlic
  • 1/8 tsp pepper
  • 1/4 tsp salt

Directions:

  1. Melt butter in olive oil, medium heat (in sauce pan).
  2. Add mushrooms and garlic – saute for a few minutes.
  3. Add wine, pepper, and salt.  Continue to saute mushrooms for another 5-10 minutes, until mushrooms are tender and liquid is reduced by half.
